The Story of Behind
Our Resort
Born from the vision of the Manas Group, the Nandhaurgarh Palace was created to reintroduce travelers to a quieter, richer India, one where luxury coexists with purpose. The Palace marks a historic milestone as the first hospitality landmark within the Nandhaur Wildlife Sanctuary, an area once overshadowed by Corbett and Rajaji but now emerging as Uttarakhand’s most pristine, underexplored sanctuary. This is more than a resort. It’s a tribute to a region that deserves admiration, attention, and protection, a place where hospitality becomes conservation and every stay contributes to the preservation of local heritage, wildlife, and community life.

The Palace sits amid the ancient Sal forests of Nandhaur, a sanctuary that bridges Corbett, Rajaji, and Nepal’s Shuklaphanta Reserve as part of India’s Terai Arc Landscape. These forests are home to over 250 bird species, elephants, tigers, leopards, and rare flora, many of which thrive just beyond the palace’s boundaries.
Guests don’t just stay here, they experience the pulse of a living ecosystem. Early morning safaris, guided birding trails, and riverside walks reveal a world few have seen, yet fewer have stayed within.
